About InsideOut Cinema
A room with presence. An experience that feels completely natural.
Design · Build · Calibrate
Established 2002
We create private cinemas and media rooms where every practical and technical detail has a purpose: to make time at home more immersive, effortless and memorable.
Our Approach
The technology we specify and integrate is for enhancing everyday life, ensuring it is tailored to your exact requirements in order to complement your personality and style.
Selected technology partners
Brands we integrate into considered cinema spaces.
Designed around real life
The best room is not simply impressive on day one. It works beautifully for every film, game, match and family night after that.
One considered system
Acoustics, lighting, seating, control and equipment are resolved together, not handed between disconnected trades.
Quietly technical
The engineering is exacting; the finished experience is reassuringly simple, discreet and enjoyable to use.
Support that remains
We remain close to the project after handover, so your cinema continues to perform exactly as it should.
How we work
One clear journey, from idea to opening night.
Discover
We listen first: how you live, what you watch, who will use the room and what an exceptional experience means to you.
Design & Build
The room, acoustics, equipment, lighting and control are planned as one complete system — not separate trades stitched together later.
Calibrate & Care
We tune the finished cinema for the room and stay involved after handover, so it remains simple, reliable and genuinely enjoyable.
The Cinema Experience
Every layer of the room, working beautifully together.
Designing a brilliant cinema is not about choosing individual products. It is about resolving every element as one precise, relaxed and immersive experience.
Custom Cinema Design
A truly immersive cinema is the result of a room designed as one complete experience. We bring together entertainment, comfort, lighting, hidden equipment and control into a space that feels instinctive from the first use.
- Room planning & technical layouts
- Seating, finishes & comfort
- Hidden technology integration
- Construction-team coordination
4K Visual Design
Screen size, viewing geometry, brightness, colour balance and source quality all matter. We help you make the key early choices that protect the final image quality before the room is finished.
- Projector & display specification
- Screen fabric selection
- Viewing geometry
- Picture calibration
Audio Design
InsideOut began with exceptional sound. The right equipment, correct speaker placement and proper calibration make films and music feel immediate, detailed and emotional — without making the room feel technical.
- Immersive surround sound
- Speaker placement & concealment
- Amplification & processing
- Final tuning
Acoustic Treatment
Great cinema sound depends on more than excellent equipment. Acoustic treatments are planned into the room to control reflections, improve clarity and create a powerful, balanced listening experience.
- Room acoustic analysis
- Absorption & diffusion
- Acoustically transparent finishes
- Noise and vibration control
Lighting Design
Lighting transforms the room before the film begins and after the credits roll. We specify the fittings, scenes and controls that make every part of the cinema feel considered and comfortable.
- Layered cinema lighting
- Scene setting
- Low-glare specification
- Integrated controls
Control Integration
The best technology is the technology you do not have to think about once it is installed. We shape the right level of control for your project, whether that means a fully featured system or something elegantly simple and self-explanatory.
- One-touch movie scenes
- Simple family-friendly control
- Hidden rack & equipment control
- Remote support-ready systems
Shade Integration
Shading protects the image, creates comfort and maintains privacy without interrupting the architecture. It is designed into the wider system so the room responds naturally whenever you want to watch, relax or entertain.
- Blackout & daylight control
- Motorised blinds and drapery
- Cinema scene automation
- Architectural integration
